Book design for photographer
Natacha Nikouline. This project inspired
by the Dutch golden age vanitas,
is accompanied by two texts by Sarah Chiche and Alexander Dencher.
Despite the fact that our Thermidor typeface is the main topic of this book,
it is not strictly a specialist book
about typography. We invited artist Ève Chabanon to create editorial content
of this book which includes texts
from herself, artist Eva Barto,
art historian Nicolas Exertier, art
critic and curator Emily King, graphic
design and typography historian Sébastien Morlighem, graphic design
studio officeabc (Brice Domingues
and Catherine Guiral), and curators
Elodie Royer and Yoann Gourmel.
In october 2015, Le Feu Sacré Éditions released a new collection. Each book
